Full Job Description Job Title:

Fundraising & Development Coordinator (Part-Time)

Overview:

Fighting to Win, Inc., dba Day One Fitness (D1F), is seeking a motivated and organized Fundraising & Development Coordinator to lead and support our fundraising and donor cultivation efforts. This part-time position (15 hours/week with flexibility for additional hours during peak event months) works closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Fundraising Committee to execute fundraising strategies, manage donor relationships, and oversee event planning. The ideal candidate will help expand D1F’s donor base, secure new partnerships, and ensure the success of our fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a high-level annual resource development plan, including strategies for engaging donors and identifying new funding opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation donors. Plan and coordinate fundraising events, including managing volunteers and securing event sponsorships. Oversee volunteer committees for fundraising events and ensure all logistical aspects are coordinated. Track and report on fundraising progress, providing updates to the Executive Director and Board of Directors. Write and distribute press releases and media alerts to promote fundraising efforts and events. Maintain accurate donor information and acknowledgment processes. Collaborate with the Executive Director on donor outreach, including appeal letters and campaigns.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field). 2-5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or related roles. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in event planning and volunteer management. Knowledge of the CSRA area and contacts in the community are a plus.
