Full Job Description Description:
The Annual Giving Manager is responsible for the overall success of the annual giving program, raising approximately $800,000 in unrestricted funds to support programs across the organization. This role directs and oversees all aspects of annual giving, including direct mail, online giving, peer-to-peer fundraising, gift processing and accounting, and donor segmentation. This position reports directly to the Development Director and manages the Donor Database Specialist.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
: 1. Bachelor’s degree and 3-4 years of related experience in nonprofit fundraising. 2. Experience managing people. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse range of donors and stakeholders. 4. Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to build and deepen relationships. 5. Detailed-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 6. Knowledgeable about fundraising, marketing, and communication principles and strategies. 7. Experience with donor database/CRM system, preferably Raiser’s Edge NXT. 8. High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive donor information. 9. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Annual Giving Program Management:
Develop and oversee the strategy and implementation of the annual giving program, including direct mail campaigns, online giving, peer-to-peer fundraising, and in-person fundraising efforts.
Gift Process and Budget Tracking:
Work with the Donor Database Specialist to execute the processing and acknowledgement of all donations ensuring 100% accuracy and timely turnaround. Develop and track budget expenses for donor communications and produce standard and special reports as necessary evaluating appeal and campaign performance.
Campaign Operations:
Manage the day-to-day operations of annual giving campaigns including overseeing the creation of the yearly operating plan and all aspects of the production calendar ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution. Works collaboratively with the Communications Manager on the plan and to ensure third-party fundraising efforts are supported to maximize engagement and impact.
Donor Segmentation:
Create strategic donor segments for all donor communications leveraging donor data insights, to ensure effective moves management to cultivate, retain and grow donor gifts paying attention to building the donor pipeline.
Communication and Marketing:
Work with the Communications Manager to create compelling campaigns, appeal letters, and communication materials, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.
Donor Relations:
Cultivate and steward relationships with individual funders from an assigned portfolio, ensuring ongoing engagement and support.
Event Planning:
Assist in the planning and execution of One80 Place-initiated events to support One80 Place initiated fundraising efforts.
Additional Projects:
Assist with additional projects as assigned by the Development Director.
