Director of Resource Development Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee 210 West 8th Street, Columbia, TN 38401 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Resource Development to lead our fundraising and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in relationship management, strategic planning, and driving revenue growth. This role is pivotal in enhancing our organization’s visibility and securing the necessary resources to fulfill our mission. The Director of Resource Development will work closely with our leadership team, volunteers, and stakeholders to drive fundraising efforts and ensure sustainable growth. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals. Manage relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners to foster long-term support. Oversee volunteer management efforts, ensuring effective engagement and utilization of volunteer resources. Conduct research to identify potential funding opportunities and grant prospects. Partner with Director of Marketing and Communications for direct mail and email campaigns Ensure accurate records of donor interactions and contributions using Salesforce or similar CRM systems. Lead initiatives to secure planned gifts from supporters. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling narratives that highlight our mission and impact. Plan and execute fundraising events that engage the community and promote organizational visibility. Requirements Proven experience in fundraising, development, or a related field. Strong skills in relationship management with a focus on building lasting partnerships. Familiarity with strategic planning processes and market analysis. Experience with direct mail and digital marketing strategies and tools Proficient in a CRM or similar database management systems for tracking donor information. Excellent research skills for identifying funding sources and grant opportunities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to engage diverse audiences. Great futures start here!
