Role:
An established dealership is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead all aspects of store operations. This opportunity is ideal for a proven leader with a deep background in domestic automotive brands and a track record of success in used vehicle operations .
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all dealership operations including variable ops, fixed ops, F&I, and service Drive aggressive used vehicle acquisition, inventory turn, and pricing strategies Develop and implement growth strategies for both new and used departments Be a visible, hands-on leader—engaged daily with customers and staff Champion a best-in-class customer experience and retention strategy Manage P&L performance, cost controls, and bottom-line profitability Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and financial institutions Stay on the leading edge of market trends, digital retailing, and customer engagement
Qualifications:
Proven success as a General Manager or similar executive leadership role Extensive used car operations experience is required Must have experience with domestic brands (e.g., GM, Ford, Stellantis) Strong leadership presence with a “lead by example” mindset Expertise in data analysis, performance tracking, and operational strategy Deep understanding of F&I, service, and fixed ops management Excellent communication, negotiation, and team-building skills
