Full Job Description About Us:
We are one of the largest and fastest-growing multi-unit operators within the automotive repair industry, delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional service across all locations. As we expand, we are seeking an experienced Group Manager to lead and actively manage the performance of a designated group of centers.
Position Overview:
The Group Manager is directly responsible for the operational and financial success of multiple automotive repair centers. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring close management of each center’s functional performance — from call center lead handling to vehicle inspections, estimates, and sales conversions. The Group Manager will coach, monitor, and hold teams accountable for executing every step of the customer and sales process to the highest standard .
Key Responsibilities:
Closely monitor and manage key operational functions: inbound call lead handling, vehicle inspections, estimate creation, customer presentations, and sales conversion. Drive center performance to achieve or exceed KPIs including car count, sales targets, gross profit margin, and customer satisfaction metrics. Conduct regular on-site visits to inspect operational flow, coach Center Managers and frontline staff, and reinforce process discipline. Develop Center Managers and service teams through training, real-time feedback, and performance reviews. Ensure accurate, thorough vehicle inspections and proper presentation of estimates to drive customer trust and close rates. Partner with the Call Center team to ensure strong appointment capture and lead-to-car-count conversion. Recruit, onboard, and build strong teams at each center with a focus on operational excellence and customer service. Drive accountability through consistent reporting, reviews, and follow-up on action plans. Collaborate with leadership to execute market strategies and support the opening of new locations.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of multi-unit management experience in automotive repair, retail, or a related service industry (automotive highly preferred). Track record of directly managing operational workflows, not just overseeing from a distance. Strong understanding of service sales processes, car count generation, and operational KPIs. Ability to lead teams with a hands-on, results-driven, and coaching-oriented approach. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver’s license and regular travel between centers required.
What We Offer:
Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus opportunities. Health, dental, and vision insurance. Paid time off and holidays. Clear advancement opportunities in a growing company.
