(Mayvary based on prior relevant work experience and market) This position, at this location, offers premium pay for weekendwork ($2.00 weekend differential) Advancement opportunities follow 6-9-month training period andinclude a generous base pay increase at that time.
MajorResponsibilities:
- Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local andnational accounts
- including many of the Fortune 500.
- Manage our large inventory of world class and nationallyrecognized vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitabilityand customer satisfaction in a fast-paced and dynamic workspace
- Generate new business leads as well as foster existing customerrelationships
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-pacedenvironment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required , preferred concentration inBusiness or Marketing
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Internship or related work experience in a customer facing rolepreferred
- Results oriented, attention to detail and good time managementskills
- A valid driver’s license is required, as is the ability andwillingness to drive our Penske vehicles, including a 26′ boxtruck.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential functionof the job.
- Willingness to travel as necessary within the district(customers yards, close geographical area and training sites), workthe required schedule, work at the specific location required,complete Penske employment application, submit to a backgroundinvestigation (to include past employment, education, and criminalhistory) and drug screening are required.
This position isregulated by the Department of Transportation or designated assafety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in aconstant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
