The company is currently seeking a Vice President of LandAcquisitions to manage lot and land acquisition activities for theTennessee Market by researching, identifying, and negotiating newland purchase and sale opportunities. General Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement land acquisition strategies and objectives Research and obtain market studies for target areas of the market;collect land and lot sales data and information Identify new residential development/lot purchase opportunities Evaluate the economic viability of projects; prepare projectfeasibility studies and cost analyses Negotiate with land/lot sellers on terms and conditions ofcontracts; ensure all acquisitions are consistent with businessplans Negotiate zoning and planning issues with municipalities;coordinate work with the project engineer and municipalities Prepare all legal documentation related to the acquisition,including purchase contracts Manage and produce land acquisition presentations forinternal/external review Foster professional relationships within the industry andcommunity, such as with municipal officials, local politicians,realtors/brokers, and developers
Qualifications:
