• Responsible for the effective and efficient management and administration of all agency programs
• Responsible for the administrative leadership of the Agency
• Responsible for reading and interpreting Federal, State, and Local Program Guidelines and Instructions for the Board of Governors and Agency Staff
• Develop agency policy and procedures for Board approval and interpret and implement this policy for agency personnel
• Responsible for the overall planning and development of Agency projects and implementing actions through the administrative staff
• Responsible for the hiring and firing of all Agency personnel
• Responsible for implementing Agency training through the administrative staff
• Responsible for the supervision, assignment of responsibilities, and evaluation of staff
• Responsible for the interaction with all sources of funding for the purposes of overall program administration
• Responsible for the interaction with the news media and all public and private organizations for purposes of publicizing Agency functions and gaining support for Agency activities.
