066 We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and results-driven Business Unit Manager to effectively manage, grow and interface with key accounts and customers. This position is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational performance of product manufacturing life-cycle. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of aerospace component manufacturing standards and production environment, strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage the operational requirements that result in superior product output and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
+ Partner with manufacturing leads to improve manufacturing flow, including the reduction of rework/scrap, management of inventory levels + Anticipates constraints to manufacturing process; develops and implements mitigation strategies and corrective actions to ensure schedule adherence, driving efficiencies and reduce waste + Have deep knowledge of their assigned product manufacturing life-cycle and is responsible for ensuring quality, contracting, engineering and any other constraints to production plans are effectively addressed + Monitor and maintain cost of sales and coordinate with outside service providers on the designed contracts + Manage production schedules against customer demand/schedule changes including responsibility for identifying and adhering to delivery commitments + Responsible for managing customer termination claims, including physical inventory assessment, customer audits, product coordination + Ability to forecast demand, react to customer schedule changes and manage Work-In-Process (WIP) + Ensure the manufacturing sequence maintain material traceability and process control + Responsible for coordinating shipping integrity and traceability Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required. + 5-7 years of manufacturing operations experience, with preference to experience in the industrial or aerospace sectors + Strong knowledge of manufacturing process, operational requirements, quality, supply chain management + Proven experience in influencing and building trust-based relationships with stakeholders at all levels. + Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. + Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, navigate ambiguity, and drive organizational change. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Experience working in a matrixed or global organization. + Background in manufacturing or aerospace desired. + Passion for continuous improvement.
