What You’ll Do:
You will own and run the show—service, installations, sales, and the call center. No silos, no excuses. You’ll be deep in the weeds of daily operations, from dispatch boards to P&L reviews, and leading your team to hit targets. Discipline, accountability, and getting things done are second nature to you. They’re seeking someone with extensive experience in HVAC operations, plus meaningful exposure to plumbing and electrical.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management Lead and mentor Service Managers, dispatch/call center teams, and field staff across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Build a high-accountability culture focused on safety, execution, and continuous improvement. Oversee onboarding, ongoing training, and leadership development at all levels. Ensure full compliance with safety standards, labor laws, permitting, and inspection/code requirements. Champion a tech-first mindset—technicians + technology driving success. Financial & KPI Management Drive financial performance to meet/exceed targets: 50% gross profit, 35% overhead, 18% EBITDA margin. Own and manage the full P&L and budget; partner with your controller for accurate, real-time financials. Monitor KPIs across labor %, sales close rates, lead conversion, and marketing ROI. Sales & Growth Oversee all sales performance—service, replacement, maintenance, and upsells. Grow the membership base to 2,000+ active maintenance agreements. Implement outbound systems to hit daily call volume and sales targets. Track lead flow, marketing spend, and conversion metrics. Maintain a >4.8 Google rating while aggressively growing positive reviews. Operations & Dispatch Be hands-on with dispatch board, call center operations, and scheduling—you know these systems inside and out. Lead regular operations reviews and service audits to tighten processes. Manage all fleet, equipment, and inventory—no downtime, no excuses. ServiceTitan is already implemented; your role is to optimize and ensure it’s fully leveraged across the company. Continuously review and improve internal customer service procedures to ensure best practices and efficiency. Customer Service Deliver fast, consistent service that keeps customers loyal. Personally engage with customers on large/complex projects, contracts, and key service issues. Lead communication strategies around billing, service updates, and customer care.
What We’re Looking For:
A strong track record of leadership in residential HVAC operations; plumbing and electrical experience strongly preferred. Proven ability to manage full P&L and drive operational growth. A history of building, training, and retaining high-performance teams—hiring, onboarding, and accountability come naturally.
Hands-on operator:
equally comfortable in dispatch, finance, and field operations. Strong operational chops with a “find-a-way” attitude. Tech-forward; ServiceTitan experience required.
Bonus :
Holds a license (HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical) or can quickly qualify.
