As an off-price retailer, we generate more than $10B in sales through our nationwide network of stores. We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Real Estate to lead all new store real estate activity within the Florida territory, including site selection for new developments and relocations. This role is remote and home-based in Florida with up to 40% travel. A Day in the Life Execute the company’s real estate strategy through market analysis and strategic site selection for new store placements Manage the full lifecycle of real estate transactions, including planning, negotiation, and coordination with local brokers Ensure all deals align with the company’s financial and operational objectives Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Planning, Store Planning & Design, Construction, Legal, Store Operations, and Finance to drive successful project execution Lead and participate in site visits to evaluate and select potential store locations Actively participate in monthly Real Estate Committee meetings to present and review proposed deals You’ll Come With Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail development within a big-box environment, with a proven track record of driving high velocity new store growth Strong negotiation, deal making in a junior anchor environment, communication and relationship management Exceptional analytical capabilities in financial and real estate analysis In-depth knowledge of the Florida market for big box retailers Willingness and ability to travel approximately 2-3 times per month (up to 40% travel), including visits to corporate headquarters, trade conference, and domestic property sites Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including advanced skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience creating executive-level presentations and effectively communicating with senior leadership and divers audiences through public speaking Come join our team.
