out of 5 stars Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316 After successfully scaling our US Car Rental business to a national level in the last 14 years, we would like to embark on a new venture and expand into the US commercial van and truck rental market. SIXT is seeking a Head of Van & Truck to lead our US launch and growth strategy. This person will be responsible for launching, managing and scaling SIXT’s Commercial Vehicle rental business in the US, with an early exclusive focus on B2B customers and long-term rentals/leasing 3-36 months. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep experience and network in commercial vehicles, mobility solutions, fleet management and B2B sales. The leader will own P&L responsibility, develop and execute go-to-market/ sales strategies, develop sourcing partnerships with relevant dealers and OEMs, build the local operational infrastructure and establish further partnerships to drive rapid market penetration.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

Organization and Team Build Up and Leadership Culture You will partner with the SIXT Van & Truck global project team and build the SIXT Van & Truck US organization You recruit, onboard and manage operations, sales, fleet and customer service leaders and support teams You lead Implement and Drive the Sixt Leadership Principles throughout the new Organization Business Strategy & Market Entry Execution You provide expertise feedback on the centrally defined go-to-market strategy for the commercial vehicle rental segment in the US and execute the go-to-market strategy You penetrate identified high-potential customer segments and continuously refine expansion strategy based on market, competitor and customer demand monitoring You Identify business and cooperation partners along the value chain and integrate them into the Business strategy execution

  • Sales & Business Development You build, govern and lead high-performance local sales & marketing teams targeting B2B accounts and ecosystems (e.g. Amazon DSPs, contractors and SMEs) You develop and manage strategic partnerships along the Commercial Vehicle rental value chain You drive corporate account acquisition through direct sales, networking and referral programs
  • Operations & Fleet Management You oversee the procurement, deployment and utilization of a high-quality commercial vehicle fleet and ensure efficient fleet operations, including repair & maintenance, telematics and turnaround efficiency You implement rental pricing models and policies to maximize profitability
  • Financial & Performance Management You own P&L responsibility for Sixt Van &T ruck US and optimize revenue stream, pricing structures and operational efficiencies You set and track KPIs (fleet uti, revenue per unit, customer acquisition costs, retention rates, fleet costs, operational costs, Margins 1-4)
YOUR SKILLS MATTER

Experience You have 7+ Years of leadership experience in relevant fields such as mobility, commercial vehicles, fleet management, fleet products, logistics, truck/van rental and transportation Technical Proficiency You have a proven track record in launching and/or scaling businesses in relevant fields, strong B2B sales and business development skills with a proven history in driving corporate clients’ acquisitions, managing P&L with expertise in budgeting, cost control and financial performance improvement and knowledge of US transportation regulations, fleet lifecycle management and rental industry compliance Soft Skills You possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset, excel in professional communication and a strong aptitude to lead high-performance teams of leaders across sales and operations Commitment to Excellence You are success-oriented and willing to take on multiple tasks Travel You are flexible and willing to travel within the designated territory
