Assistant Manager Seminole Tribe of Florida 1100 South 1st Street, Immokalee, FL 34142 We’re excited to announce we’ve opened the Immokalee Trading Post! This is a convenience store and gas station located at 1100 S 1st Street, Immokalee, FL 34142. This is down the street from the Seminole Casino/Hotel Immokalee and it’s next to the Seminole Tribe Fire Rescue. We’re open everyday year-round and we need someone with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating weekdays. Schedule would be published in advance, but shifts will vary between 4:30am and 11:30pm Saturdays and Sundays plus rotating weekdays. Overnight availability in the future. Full-time, benefits start after two months of employment. Pay is weekly, $16-17/hour. Position Summary This is administrative work supervising the clerical and business operations of the Trading Post of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Inc. The incumbent may be responsible for assisting the manager in planning, assigning and reviewing the work of subordinate staff and coordinating support services when necessary. Work involves the development of procedures necessary to carry out these responsibilities. Considerable independent judgment and initiative is exercised in conformance with STOF operating policies and procedures. Work is reviewed through reports and conferences.
Qualifications / Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent GED is required. Associate’s degree is preferred; or equivalent considerable experience in retail with some supervisory responsibilities; or any equivalent combination of education, related training and experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to all Seminole Reservations and to work a flexible schedule including, weekends, evenings and holidays.
