Position Summary
The Vice President of Commercial Title is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, building and managing high-value partnerships, and expanding the company’s footprint in commercial real estate servicing and new markets. This role requires a strategic leader with deep industry knowledge, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in business development within the title insurance or real estate sector.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Growth
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that aligns with the company’s growth objectives.
Identify and capitalize on new revenue opportunities within existing and emerging markets.
Establish key performance metrics and track sales performance to ensure business goals are met.
Strategic Partnerships & Business Development
Identify, cultivate, and manage high-value partnerships with title agencies, lenders, developers, and real estate professionals.
Negotiate and structure agreements that drive mutual value and long-term collaboration.
Expand and enhance relationships with large-scale commercial real estate clients, ensuring tailored title services that meet their needs.
Market Expansion & Commercial Real Estate Servicing
Lead the company’s growth into new geographic markets, assessing regulatory requirements and market potential.
Develop and execute a plan to expand commercial real estate servicing capabilities, including underwriting for complex transactions.
Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor strategies to position the company as a leader in emerging markets.
Mentorship & Leadership
Provide guidance and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Develop training programs and resources to enhance the skills and expertise of sales professionals.
Collaborate with internal departments, including underwriting and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
7+ years of sales, business development, or partnership management experience in the title insurance, real estate, or financial services industry.
Deep understanding of title underwriting, agency relationships, and commercial real estate transactions.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive growth.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with a track record of securing high-value partnerships.
Experience identifying and launching new market expansions.
Leadership experience with a passion for mentorship and team development.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to travel as needed to develop and maintain key relationships.
