Fort Myers, FL Assistant Manager Duties:

• Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the store meets its sales goals
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues
• Train, mentor, and supervise store employees to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and provide excellent service
• Assist in managing inventory levels and conducting regular stock checks
• Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers and preparing bank deposits
• Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue
• Assist in employee scheduling, payroll processing, and maintaining employee records
• Conduct employee orientation and training sessions to ensure new hires are familiar with company policies and procedures

Skills:

• Retail management experience preferred
• Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus
• Strong cash handling skills
• Knowledge of store management principles and practices
• Ability to sell products effectively and meet sales targets
• Proficient in payroll processing and basic accounting tasks
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Experience in sales management or team leadership roles
