The resort, which was recently renovated and reopened in December 2024, offers spacious, fully equipped condos overlooking the gulf. Shell Island Beach Club serves up Gulf Coast living at its finest with stunning sunsets on white-sand beaches, an iconic 140-year-old lighthouse, dining, and activities. Summary:

The Shell Island Beach Club is seeking a knowledgeable and energetic General Manager to successfully lead in all facets of the resort’s day-to-day operations! The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day functions of the property. The General Manager will liaise between property residents, guests, and the board of directors while using proper protocol. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The General Manager has a responsibility to enforce board policies to ensure they are followed. The General Manager will liaise between property owners, guests, and the board of directors while using proper protocol. The General Manager must communicate decisions from the board of directors to the owners The General Manager has a support responsibility to all functional officers, directors, and staff.

5+ years as a General Manager with full or select service hotel brands or in an independent hotel environment. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related area of study preferred Prior experience as a GM in a time share resort preferred. Prior experience in time share ownership relations preferred Previous background, experience and commitment to lead within a diverse, vibrant and engaged team member environment is required. Requirement to relocate as a full-time resident to the area within 90 days of hire (if not local). Ability to promote a winning culture and improve the ownership and guest experience and have fun doing it.
