What You’ll Do As Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness (VPIE), you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the College’s efforts in accreditation, assessment, institutional research, and charter school reporting. This executive role ensures institutional compliance with accrediting bodies, promotes a culture of continuous improvement, and supports data-informed planning and decision-making to advance student success and organizational effectiveness. The Vice President reports directly to the President and serves as a member of the College’s executive leadership team. The essential job functions are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties performed; employees will be required to perform other job-related duties as required. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for: Accreditation Serve as the College’s Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) to accrediting agencies (e.g., SACSCOC, HLC). Lead institutional preparation for reaffirmation, substantive change, and compliance reporting. Coordinate institutional responses to accreditation standards, policies, and recommendations. Ensure timely submission of accreditation reports and documentation. Assessment Oversee academic and administrative assessment processes to ensure alignment with institutional goals and learning outcomes. Support faculty and staff in the development and implementation of meaningful assessment plans. Lead the coordination and implementation of program review processes to evaluate academic quality and inform improvement. Facilitate the integration of assessment results into planning, budgeting, and improvement efforts. Monitor and report assessment progress to internal and external stakeholders. Institutional Research Lead the Office of Institutional Research in collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to inform institutional planning and decision-making. Oversee compliance with federal and state reporting requirements (e.g., IPEDS, state accountability reports). Provide data support for strategic planning, enrollment management, grant applications, and program evaluation. Promote data literacy and transparency across the College. Charter School Reporting Serve as the College’s Chief Accountability Officer for affiliated charter schools. Ensure compliance with state and local reporting requirements related to charter school performance, finance, and governance. Coordinate the submission of required accountability and performance reports. Collaborate with charter school leadership to support data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success.

Our ideal candidate will have:

A Master’s degree in higher education, public policy, social science, or a related field is required. A Doctoral degree is preferred. A minimum of seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in higher education, with a demonstrated expertise in accreditation, assessment, and institutional research. A strong knowledge of accreditation standards (e.g., SACSCOC or HLC) is essential. Must also possess strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to apply both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Statistical expertise and the ability to utilize data analysis for institutional planning and improvement are key. Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, Banner), data visualization tools, and assessment platforms is required. Demonstrated success in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and possess experience managing teams and leading cross-departmental initiatives.
