- Senior Market Officer to join our Boca Raton or Miami, Florida regional office.
This member of our Senior Leadership Team will direct all real estate activities within the South Florida region, which is currently comprised of approximately 47 properties encompassing 5.4 million square feet. This individual will have leadership and managerial responsibility for leasing, asset management and development, with the overall objective being to maximize long-term performance of the market portfolio as measured by growth in net operating income and value realized from investments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Managerial Leadership
- Develop, direct and implement leasing strategies aimed at maximizing occupancy and merchandising strategies. Oversee acquisitions, dispositions and development/redevelopment initiatives, capital budgeting and expense management programs to achieve superior performance targets. Strategic Leadership
- Oversee the implementation of long-term asset management and value creating investment strategies for the South Florida region and advise top management accordingly.
Team Development - Lead, direct and develop officers and staff, serving as a leadership role model for the company.
Compliance and Operational Excellence - Monitor operations, investments and organization within the region to ensure quality standards and adherence to Regency’s policies, systems and core beliefs.
Stewardship and Company Representation - Foster and maintain key relationships, advance market interests, resolve serious complaints and handle high profile and/or highly sensitive meetings.
Are You Qualified?
Undergraduate degree in real estate, finance or related discipline required
Master’s degree in business or real estate development a plus
Minimum of 15 years of relevant retail real estate experience, including a proven track record with development/redevelopment of neighborhood shopping centers
Experience managing a team of real estate professionals
Proficiency with current Microsoft Office software
Strong knowledge of the commercial real estate and retail industries
Advanced quantitative and financial analysis skills
Extensive relationships within the industry and deep local market knowledge
Ability to travel extensively
