The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our grocery store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining efficient inventory management. Duties Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and staff management to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting regular audits, and coordinating with suppliers to replenish items as needed. Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems for transaction processing and sales reporting. Develop and implement effective budgeting strategies to optimize store performance. Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve sales goals and maintain operational standards. Negotiate with vendors for favorable terms on products and supplies. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance the shopping experience. Requirements Proven experience in a retail environment, preferably within grocery or wireless sales sectors. Strong skills in inventory management and organizational practices. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work culture. Proficiency in using POS systems for sales transactions and reporting purposes. Excellent budgeting skills with a focus on cost control and efficiency. Strong negotiation skills to secure advantageous agreements with suppliers. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
