The General Manager’s primary responsibility andaccountability includes providing an exceptional and successfulcustomer experience while leading and maintaining the day-to-dayoperation of the Store in compliance with established policies andprocedures. The General Manager plans and implements the dailyoperations of the Collision Center to ensure that overall KPI’s andinsurance metrics are met. They are responsible to coach andempower each team member’s performance and success in theirindividual roles. The General Manager will promote and maintain thehighest quality standards of professionalism in serving allcustomers, and the General Manager plays a pivotal role in thesuccess of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are workingin alignment with all team members. General Managers are committedto leading by example at all times.
Key Job Responsibilities Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way)plan. Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget ofthe collision center. Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expenseobjectives. Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthlyperformance reviews. Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the CollisionCenter. Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at alltimes. Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment,including the paint booth Provide training for all staff as necessary Ensure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dresscode. Open and close the facility daily as per establishedprocedures. Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks toconfirm through-put and delivery dates Manage all estimates to ensure labor mix is within establishedstandards. Manage store capacity. Lead and manage all repair facility personnel. Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings .Attendmonthly managers meetings. Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommendedby Senior Leadership Team. Store CSI performance review and follow up within 24hours.
Education and/or Experience Required Post-Secondary Education or equivalent. Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environmentor similar role.
Required Skills/Abilities Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Ability to consistently demonstrate a successful clientexperience Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Ability to motivate others utilizing effective coaching toolsand management skills.
