Senior Vice President Strategy As the Senior VP of Strategy, you will work directly for the CEO toidentify business partnerships and growth initiatives, includingdriving pipeline growth to help the business secure profitablerevenue across our business lines. The business partnerships shouldideally identify product revenue that can be accretive to theorganization with immediate effect. This role leads our effort in prioritizing the investments andfocusing them on strategic priorities, financial returns oninvestment, and the ability to deliver revenue. Workingcollaboratively with other members of the executive team, thisindividual is accountable for creating visibility for seniorexecutives into a chosen set of transformational initiatives toensure that best practices are followed and that initiatives arepositioned for success; to raise and resolve issues in a mannerthat increases the pace of progress and improves chances ofrealizing full value; to partner with leaders to create measures ofprogress and value creation. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as an external-facing representative of our client andensure transparent and professional communication both internallyand externally,
- Identify new opportunity sources for our client beyond thecurrent scope.
- Drive business case development to articulate returns and securenecessary investments for advancing strategy.
- Able to drive results personally and through others.
- Acquire and develop strong talent within the team.
- Support executive and board-level communications needed insupport of business plans.
- Translate business strategy into operational plans to deliverresults.
- Lead special projects on behalf of the senior team as needs arisewithin the Company.
- As opportunities arise, capture plans, schedules, PowerPoint”deal decks,” and other planning/presentation materials should becreated.
- Lead a business transformation planning process in partnershipwith company leadership to ensure our annual investment plan andactions align with our strategic goals and realize the growth andefficiencies desired by the CEO.
- Ensure delivery of high value forthe business and technology investments made in the company toensure benefit realization.
- Provide ongoing communication on status, risk, issue management,and prioritization of initiatives in the portfolio. Job Specifications
- Undergraduate degree required; Masters preferred
- Significant industry and leadership experience required
- 10 to 15 plus years of experience in a senior-level strategicposition
- Effective influencing, communication, and collaboration acrossmultiple business functions.
- Strong business acumen and technology knowledge are required todeliver a holistic plan with the most outstanding valuepossible.
- Able to drive strategic and detailed analysis and summarizeeffectively to support decision-making by others.
- A strong driver of results but able to partner with others toachieve results.
- Able to balance a support function as a contributing senior teammember.
- Strong people leader and developer of talent for theEnterprise.
- An internal and external mindset to ensure optimalinvestments.
- Strong program management expertise.
