Job description Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our wheel and tire store, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team of associates. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for the automobile industry. Duties Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with company sales quotas. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Manage inventory levels, including ordering stock and conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy. Utilize strong math skills to assist with cash management and financial reporting. Develop training programs for new hires to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills for their roles. Communicate effectively with team members to promote a cohesive work environment. Participate in recruiting efforts to attract top talent for the store. Interact with vendors and suppliers to ensure store has what is needed for sales/rentals. Requirements Previous experience in a supervisory role within a Wheel and Tire shop or retail and Rent to Own experience is preferred. Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and staff. Proven ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to negotiate effectively when necessary. A commitment to training development, ensuring all team members are well-prepared for their responsibilities. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing store operations. Ability to lead by example and motivate team members towards achieving store goals. Bilingual is a plus!
