Executive Director The Recovery Community HUB of Palm Beach County West Palm Beach, FL 33401
General Description:
The Executive Director shall be chief executive officer of the organization, and, subject to the control of the Board of Directors, shall have the general supervision, direction, and control of the business of the HUB.
Key Responsibilities:
Plans for program services, staffing, physical resources, and funding. Develops, manages, and controls fiscal resources of the HUB to assure funding is sufficient to meet service needs and funds are used efficiently to provide effective services. Responsible for employment, training, supervision, evaluation of work performance, and dismissal of employees. Represents the HUB to the public, funders, media, and other stakeholders. Develops short-term and long-term plans and assures annual update of plans are based on changing needs and progress toward objectives. Monitors implementation of policies and procedures to assure that programs and services are delivered effectively and efficiently. Assures that all required reports and documents are timely and accurate and forwarded to the Board, funding bodies, and regulatory agencies as appropriate. Establishes and maintains working relationships with community groups, service providers, government offices, and other relevant agencies. Provides recommendations concerning activities, progress and problems of the HUB, and other consultation to the Board, as requested. Performs other duties as assigned by the Board.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven management, fiscal, fundraising, public relations, and advocacy skills. Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and administrative skills Thorough understanding of substance use disorder treatment theory, practice, and resources, especially peer support.
Education and Experience:
Must hold graduate degree in human services or related field have at least five years of experience in a supervisory role.

$75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
