Job Summary:

Water Oak Irrigation Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee all aspects of our operations. The General Manager will be responsible for leading and managing our team, ensuring efficient service delivery, driving business growth, and maintaining our reputation for excellence. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Please note that this position requires working outdoors for extended periods in the Florida sun.

Responsibilities:

Provide strong leadership and direction to all team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, service delivery, and quality control. Manage and optimize resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth. Manage budgets and control expenses effectively. Recruit, train, and mentor team members. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a management role, preferably within the landscaping, irrigation, or a related service industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in basic computer applications. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to work comfortably outdoors for long hours in the Florida heat and sun.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of irrigation systems and practices. Experience with scheduling and dispatch software. Sales and business development experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience Sales commissions after 180 days.
