We also seek individuals that have in experience in apparel merchandising that can rotate merchandise in the store to ensure sales are maximized on current stock levels. comfortable with point of sale (POS) software systems and also basic Microsoft Office software is helpful. The uniform business requires a lot of organization and extreme attention-to-detail to ensure each customer gets their order as specified during the purchase. General Sales Floor Responsibilities:
Welcome and greet customers, modeling a positive customer service spirit, exhibiting a friendly and helpful attitude with customers and coworkers. Answer customer questions regarding products and services; assist customers with buying decisions. Operate cash registers to complete customer transactions. Display merchandise and maintain a clean shopping area to maximize store appeal. Assist in keeping the store clean and organized to ensure a great customer service experience. Assist in the receiving and of new merchandise from vendors. Prepare merchandise for the selling floor. Assist in minimizing loss of company assets. Contribute to team efforts. Administrative Responsibilities Recruit, build and motivate eligible employees with best retention rate practices in mind. Manage schedules, payroll, time clock entries, etc. Manage cash collections to ensure accuracy with staff and customer account. Includes bank deposits and getting change needed for the store. Inventory management – ensure computer records match physical store inventory, monitor inventory rotations, adjust minimum and maximum inventory levels based on business volume. Meet with wholesale vendors that come to the store to present new products for consideration in the sale. Create Purchase Orders for customers using the POS system. Email correspondences to customer inquiries regarding service and products offered.
Qualifications:
MUST be able to work flexible work schedules that consist of afternoon, nights and weekends. Minimum 5 years applicable retail/customer service work experience . Minimum 2 years of verifiable supervision experience of some sort. Ability to work 10 Hour shifts as/if needed and/or necessary. Reliable transportation to drop bank deposits and get cash/change as needed for store operations. Must be proficient in basic Microsoft Office software Positive attitude and enjoys teamwork and encourages cooperation while working with others. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively. Attention to detail and accuracy. Light-to-moderate physical effort required; standing and walking will constitute 95% or more of a work shift to include stooping, kneeling and lifting up to 30lbs.
