Full Job Description Job Description:

The Task Force is responsible for training of new staff during times of management transition, training needed at hotels, extended absence, or military obligation. They will assist in the on boarding process of a new manager. They will visit hotels and troubleshoot areas of opportunities and assist the management company in new hotel development. This position will report to the Director of Operations. Job Expectations Assist in the implementation of strategies for meeting goals in the areas of revenue generation, market share performance, guest satisfaction scores and net operating income. Become knowledgeable of company policies and procedures included but not limited to accounting, human resources, operations and sales. Focus will be training or filling in for a General Manager but may be assigned to oversee/train other departments of a hotel. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards). Comply at all times with Beechwood standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. Comply with certification requirements as applicable for this position to include: hotel training by brand, CPR and First Aid. Establish and maintain a key control system for the department. Operate radios efficiently and professionally in communicating with hotel staff. Ensure the proper use of radio etiquette within all departments. Monitor and direct personnel based on department assisting with. Make the schedules for the department you are overseeing/training. The General Manager will approve schedules weekly. Train new managers and personnel to perform their duties to standards. Ensure that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and other employees. Ordering supplies for the department while keeping within budget. The budget will be provided by the General Manager. Conducting monthly inventories of department and guest supplies as needed. Conducting interviews for open positions, handling employee complaints & grievances, disciplining employees, and appraising employees. Conduct daily walk through and room inspections. These will be reported back to BHG.

Additional Responsibilities:

Create, design, or implement training and development programs to enhance employee knowledge. Generate and maintain a positive, professional working environment. All other duties assigned by the General Manager or Management Company. Control expenses to maintain budget and profit goals

Requirements:

Be an excellent communicator-written & verbal Be honest, dependable, and have high ethical standards Demonstrate outstanding leadership Be an excellent communicator-written & verbal Hospitality experience with proven results Organized, efficient, and able to meet assigned deadlines Goal driven and motivated to succeed Able to work under pressure and maintain composure, including emergency situations Analytical ability and able to solve problems. Computer literate Strong Food & Beverage Knowledge/Background Housekeeping experience is required. Hilton experience is required. 3-5+ years of Hilton AGM or GM experience required.
