Design Within Reach atMillerKnoll is the perfect opportunity for you to grow your careerin the interior design industry. As an Assistant Manager you willprovide leadership support in the absence of the General Manager.

You will balance your time between working with clients, supportingleadership initiatives, sales coaching, training, and talentacquisition. You will work in close partnership with the GeneralManager to achieve the Studio’s sales goals, building clientrelationships, and become an expert in educating clients on each ofour iconic product’s story and details. You will report to theGeneral Manager. What you’ll do: You’ll have opportunities to: Growyour business on a weekly basis by utilizing company programs andtools to manage the full client lifecycle to meet and exceed yoursales goals. Assist in maintaining the Studio’s design and visualstandards using merchandising guidelines. Create client floor plansand design presentations. Travel for in-home client consultationsand visits to local trade professionals. Attending Studio meetings,product trainings, and utilizing the Design Within Reach websiteand catalog to increase product and design knowledge as well asindustry awareness. Directly manage all Sales Assistants and StudioInterns. Does this sound like you? This might be you if you havethe following: Retail management experience preferred Ability tobuild relationships and trust with direct reports, peers, andstudio clientele. Proficiency with MS Office software, webnavigation and 3-D rendering programs. Able to routinely moveobjects weighing more than 20 pounds and to understand safetyrequirements. Who We Hire?
