Property Summary:
The General Manager (GM) serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Home Owners Association. This position has ultimate responsibility for the day to day operations, including all activities and relationships between the Association, Board of Directors, members, guests, employees, community, government and industry. The Venetian Golf & River Club is a 1,039 acre, 1377 home Northern Italian Renaissance themed gated community situated on the north side of Laurel Road, 1.5 miles east of Exit 195 on I-75 adjoining the Myakka River in North Venice, Florida. At the center of the community is the crown jewel of this breathtaking complex, the distinguished, Mediterranean inspired River Club , packed with a multitude of luxurious amenities which offers both fine dining as well as a more casual experience. All residents have access to the River Club, which offers world class amenities including six Har-Tru Tennis Courts, a 74-acre nature park with Boardwalk for wildlife and birdwatching, Fitness Center with professional Fitness Classes, and a beautiful Community Swimming Pool and Spa, including an outdoor poolside Tiki Bar. In addition, the community features an 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course designed by Chip Powell. The golf membership is optional. Many of the homes have beautiful golf course, lake, or preserve views, which allow residents to fully enjoy nature and the Venetian Golf & River Club . The Venetian Golf & River Club is conveniently located close to neighborhood shopping areas and the beautiful beaches on Venice Island and Casey Key Minimum of five (5) years Homeowner Association (HOA) Management experience – Onsite experience required Experience managing an aging master association with condominium sub associations Must have an active Florida CAM license and CMCA designation AMS Certification a plus Hospitality/club management background preferred Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associates degree or relevant experience required Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills are required. Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have command of the English language both written and verbal. Excellent phone etiquette. Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines. Ability to read, understand, and explain financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and general ledger.
Pay and Benefits:
$95,000 – $99,000 annual salary per year.
