We are looking for a General Manager for our Business Unit Momentm. Momentm is a dedicated Health & Human Services Transportation software company, emerging with 30+ years of prior experience from TripSpark and Trapeze. We are committed to addressing a key social determinant of health (SDOH), namely non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), for many market segments including Managed Care Organizations, brokers, transportation providers, PACE, IDD and health groups. THE POSITION
The General Manager will be an independent individual responsible for directing a Business Unit (BU) within the Modaxo Americas ANZ Portfolio. Reporting to the Group Leader, this person will drive new customer, back to base, and maintenance strategies and their execution. The General Manager will manage the business needs in areas of: Product, Marketing, Sales, Delivery, Customer Care, New Initiatives, Engineering (hardware and software), Finance, HR, Legal and IT. The success of the General Manager is measured by Net Revenue growth, bookings, BQR and Core ratios, attrition, working capital ratio, IRR for new initiatives, employee attrition, and CX. The General Manager builds strong customer and partner relationships by being accountable for understanding, anticipating, and acting on customer and partner need. They would gain a deep knowledge of the competitive environment to help cement the Company’s differentiation with customers. The General Manager is a visionary that craves a detailed view and understanding of operations to drive every aspect of their business. The General Manager will be able to deal and negotiate effectively with government and customer agencies, financial officials, and other executives outside the company while being conscious of Modaxo’s business and financial legal practices and policies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Leadership Develop corporate mission, communicate clear vision of strategic objectives/goals, as well as policies and operating plans for the business. Drive innovation for the company (process, R D, initiatives, M&A input etc.). Annual, quarterly, and monthly P&L forecasts and results. Continuous improvement resulting in streamlined processes, increased productivity, gained efficiencies, and enhanced value. Maintain effective communication with colleagues and staff. Work with HR to establish recruiting, development, and retention programs. 2. Sales & Marketing Accountable for sales coverage and compensation/commission model. Work with the marketing and sales team to ensure long term funnel growth and health. 3 Program Management Accountable for governance of projects to ensure adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality delivery. Ensure appropriate revenue recognition processes are followed. Escalate problem projects to upper management as necessary. 4. Customer Care Execute and ensure the effective long-term customer care program for clients while managing attrition. Execute an effective solution adoption program for clients. Coordinate the administration of annual customer satisfaction and information gathering surveys and other communication tools. 5. Research and Development Balance the investment in R D with the investment in maintenance to maximize new name growth and retention of existing customers while ensuring a streamlined Customer Care and R D operations Ensure clear Product Plans are established, executed, and pivoted to respond to market needs The Person Passionate, Motivated, Energetic, and Curious Results Oriented Detail Oriented Clear and Concise Communicator (Listening, Understanding, and Responding) Relationship Builder Organizational Awareness Conceptual, Systems, and Design Thinker Understanding of the North American Transit Industry and Agencies an asset. Post-secondary education in the area of business administration, and/or computer or electrical engineering; or equivalent would be an asset 5 + years of management experience Go-To-Market (GTM) oriented mindset to help ensure continued growth Time Management Being able to travel throughout North America and abroad for important customer and partner meetings, as well as corporate meetings.
