PM Shift Position Reports To:

General Manager Job Description:

As the Shift Manager, you will work directly with the General Manager to assist with the operations and assure that the policies of Adventure Air Sports are followed. You will manage the day-to-day operations, control inventory, maintain health and safety standards, and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability. You will be responsible for all staff which includes training and supervising. You will also monitor customer feedback, resolve issues, and strive to continuously improve the overall experience for guests. The Shift Manager will work with all teams to ensure that Adventure Air Sports is of the highest quality at all times by monitoring, analyzing, and improving the guest’s and teams’ experience for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Minimum of one year management experience in a related field Previous experience working with part time staff (ability to lead and motivate) Outgoing, energetic and friendly personality Ability & flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required Communication, Organizational, follow-up, and multitasking skills are a must Ability to create & pull needed reports Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products Demonstrate financial acumen First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience with employee scheduling, cash handling & inventory control Willingness to learn operational platforms Responsibilities including, but not limited to: Maintain Adventure Air Sports policies and procedures in all aspects of the business Manage ~50 part time staff | Hiring/Training | Ability to perform “on the spot” coaching Perform the functions of team members when necessary Ensure the safety, cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility Enforce and ensure ALL safety rules are followed, including waiver policy Comply with all health and safety regulations Ensure the safety of all equipment with regularly documented checks/inspections Repair fixtures and equipment as issues are noticed or instructions from management Ensure proper cash management controls are followed Ability to handle and resolve guest issues in a friendly and professional manner Other management duties as assigned Ability to do manual labor | Physical agility and strength required (at least 50 lbs)

Ideal Schedule:

Wednesday AND Thursday:

3:30pm – 8:30pm

Friday AND Saturday:

3:30pm – 10:30pm Please note that some shifts may fall outside the regular schedule to accommodate vacations, sick leave, or special events.
