Position Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Store Associate to assist our customers and help with daily operations. If you enjoy working with people and have a passion for DIY projects, this might be the perfect job for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Greet and assist customers with their hardware needs Provide knowledgeable advice on products and solutions Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness Process transactions at the cash register Help with inventory management and restocking
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of hardware tools and products is required, either having worked in a trade industry or in a hardware store setting directly. Customer service experience preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a team and independently. Seldomly lift 40+ lb bags of dirt/mulch/quickcrete or shrub/tree. Must have professional references. Hiring process consists of at least two separate interviews.
