Senior Center Director Position Available In Essex, Massachusetts

The town of Lynnfield seeks candidates for the position of Senior Center Director. The Director works under the direction of the Town Administrator and Council on Aging Board of Directors. It is a full-time salaried position. Night and weekend work is occasionally required. The Senior Center Director is responsible for the administration of the Senior Center and for all the planning and implementation of social, recreational, educational, and therapeutic programming for the senior citizens of Lynnfield. The director also serves as the Outreach Worker Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred with three to five years of experience in municipal, state or federal government. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong public service skills are required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required and MUNIS accounting software knowledge is a plus. Current and valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a responsible driving record Hiring salary range is $80,000 – $85,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
