Finance Partner Position Available In Hampshire, Massachusetts

NORTHAMPTON

Finance Partner for Dean of the College and EnrollmentProvide financial consultation to the Vice President for Campus Life andDean of the College as well as the Vice President for Enrollment.

Provide financial management and oversight encompassing annual planning,forecasting, reporting, key metrics, and the financial evaluation ofresources allocations, requests or reductions to support key strategicinitiatives. Analyze data and statistical trends, model future fundingscenarios. Liaise with departments as needed on policies, processes,expenditures, and reporting. Act as a community member of the college’scentral budget & financial planning team, support central collegeactivities, ad-hoc analyses and modeling as needed. Take appropriateactions to support a diverse workforce and participate in the College’sefforts to create a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming workenvironment.

MINIMUM REQUIRED

Qualifications (education, experience,certifications, licenses, knowledge, skills) Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5years of experience in financial management and oversight or anequivalent combination of education/experience. Proficient to advancedknowledge of Excel. Experience with data analysis and presentation,Workday, and financial record-keeping and disbursements. PreferredQualifications MBA Fund accounting experience is highly desirable.

Higher education administration experience is highly desirable. Highdegree of initiative, self-direction, critical & creative thinking, andindependent judgment. Must possess exemplary problem solving andorganizational skills with proven judgment. Ability to develop andexecute several key projects simultaneously in a high-paced,collaborative office setting. Demonstrated strong administrative,leadership, verbal and written communication skills as well as theability to analyze complex data. Excellent interpersonal and technicalskills.
