Assistant Role Summary:
College Bound Advising, a full-service College Admissions Advising Organization, is looking for a creative and passionate Chief of Staff / Assistant to join our team to assist in developing and implementing current and future projects and assist in general office duties. The ideal candidate is friendly, enthusiastic, and flexible, with excellent communication skills. This is a part-time, hybrid position. What will you be engaged in day-to-day? Providing administrative support for new client onboarding – specifically focusing on sending out client contracts, conducting client intake, overseeing the admission to program-specific social platforms, and registering clients in our project management software. Managing all promotional connections – including but not limited to birthday cards, welcome gifts, referral gifts, and graduation gifts. Cultivating vendor relationships, including managing contract negotiations and office administration responsibilities. Organizing, modifying, and updating newsletter content on a weekly basis. Scheduling and executing newsletter release in Flodesk or Kit. Supporting organizational growth by working with executive/leadership team members to build and develop internal teams, while conducting strategic outreach to establish external partnerships. Overseeing daily business operations, including scheduling, client management systems, and workflow optimization. Managing financial operations, including budgeting, expense tracking, and revenue analysis. Implementing and maintaining customer relationship management (CRM) systems and operational databases. Creating and managing quarterly/monthly information sessions for students, families and prospective clients. Performing other duties as assigned. What qualifications will help you be successful in this role? Bachelor’s degree required. Formidable computer skills, especially with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets), that will allow, among other things, for keeping student and college files organized and providing quick responses to emails the same day they are received. Having a self-starter mindset and the willingness and desire to “roll up your sleeves” to get the job done. Proficient in various social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, etc. and ability to analyze metrics and report on findings. Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, specifically Kit or Flodesk. Combining strategic vision with strong execution skills to deliver high-quality results on time. Being an “ideas person” – demonstrating innovation and working to implement new initiatives for our students and their families. Embracing a “growth mindset” with a passion for learning. A proactive approach, engaged in setting up and finding new opportunities/programs and information for our students. The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Salary and Compensation:
We offer a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support both your professional growth and work-life balance. The salary range for this position is $25 – $30 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience.
