The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in being a Director of a Child Care Facility. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage budgets and supervise staff while fostering a positive environment for both employees and clients. Responsibilities Oversee the development of the center. Manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively. Supervise and mentor staff, promoting professional growth and development within the team. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards from the state of Mississippi. Lead initiatives for program improvement based on feedback from clients and staff. Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to enhance quality service to clients and staff. Collaborate with administrative teams to streamline operations and improve overall organizational efficiency. Qualifications Must have CDA credentials with child care experience or have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Strong budgeting skills. Experience supervising teams, with a focus on people development and performance management. Must pass a background check. Excellent relationship management skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse staff and children. Background in a Child Care setting. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey information clearly and effectively.
