JobSummary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive AssistantManager to oversee warehouse operations, storm shelterinstallations, and general operations. This role includes managinginventory, supervising installation crews, coordinating withvendors, and ensuring all projects are executed safely,efficiently, and to the highest quality. Candidates with abackground in warehouse management, construction, or installationoperations will excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management:

Supervise daily warehouse activities,including receiving, unloading, organizing, and inspecting stormshelters and tools. Monitor inventory levels and ensure properstock of installation materials and equipment. Conduct routinequality checks to ensure all shelters meet safety and qualitystandards. Enforce warehouse safety protocols and maintaincompliance with OSHA regulations. Manage equipment orders andoversee maintenance schedules.

Installation Oversight:

Coordinateinstallations across multiple locations, ensuring timely andefficient project completion. Train and supervise installationcrews, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to companyprotocols. Address site-specific challenges like excavation, slabinspections, and adjustments for custom installations. Perform siteinspections and quality control checks. Communicate with clientswhen necessary and maintain strong customer relations. Operations,site visits & maintenance: Inspect and maintain equipment weeklyTroubleshoot and resolve issues during installations. Managepayment processing and documentation for completed projects. Visitclients to take pictures and dimensions of the job site

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year in warehouse management,construction, or installation operations. Proficient in operatingforklifts, telehandlers, trailers, and other equipment. Validdriver’s license with a clean driving record. Well organizedperson, pro active and results driven. Strong leadership, andproblem-solving skills. Ability to lift heavy items, work outdoors,and adapt to varying weather conditions. Punctual, reliable, andopen to learning and adapting to new challenges. Capable of workingunder pressure and high levels of stress (about 20-30% of thetime).

dealing with employees can be difficult, trucksdo not show on time, providers sent the wrong product, checksbounce or do not arrive, clients call and complain about theirproduct, the rest is very easy.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with safety and compliance standards for warehouse andconstruction work. OSHA-30 certification (or willingness tocomplete training).
