The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our retail establishment while ensuring exceptional customer service and fostering a positive work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage a team effectively, and a passion for retail management. Duties Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations such as merchandising, helping customers with parts and service of their equipment, and ensuring store goals are met. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Conduct employee orientation and training sessions to promote team development. Manage team performance through effective coaching, feedback, and motivation. Utilize retail math to analyze sales data, inventory levels, and financial reports for informed decision-making. Participate in the hiring process by conducting interviews and evaluating potential candidates. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms for product purchases. Maintain administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll processing, and inventory management. Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages open communication and teamwork. Experience Previous experience in retail management or a similar leadership role is preferred. Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices. Proven ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities. Familiarity with retail math concepts and their application in daily operations. Outdoor Power Equipment and Rentals Experience preferred. Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle challenges with professionalism.
