Job Description

General Manager – Countertop Fabrication & Installation Atlantic Stoneworks Cedar Point, NC 28584 Atlantic Stoneworks General Manager – Countertop Fabrication and Installation Atlantic Stoneworks has been providing Jewelry for your Home in Eastern North Carolina for over 25 years. Since 1999, we’ve been the go-to source for premium solid surface and stone countertops, earning a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and dependable service. From Raleigh to the coast, homeowners, builders, and designers count on us for expert fabrication and professional installation tailored to every project. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our multi-location countertop sales, fabrication, and installation business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, team leadership, and a proven track record in the countertop industry. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will be tasked with growing multiple locations, with significant bonus potential tied to this growth.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of countertop sales, fabrication, and installation process. Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimize production and installation timelines. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Lead and motivate a diverse team, including sales specialists, fabricators, installers, and support staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge. Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and quality in all fabrication and installation processes. Implement quality control measures to identify and address any issues promptly. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction. Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations. Monitor financial performance, analyze reports, and implement strategies for improvement. Maintain inventory controls and accurate cost of goods sold Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms for the business. Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics. Identify opportunities for business growth and development.

Qualifications:

Proven experience (10 years) in a managerial role within the countertop fabrication and installation industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of countertop materials, fabrication techniques, and installation processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of business operations, financial management, and customer service. Ability to solve problems and make informed decisions under pressure. Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, engineering, or related fields are great but not required.

Compensation:
