The Growth Segment sectors (Lawn & Garden, UTV, Forestry) for Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America (YOHTA), Inc. will report directly to VP of Product Management. Drives overall growth of segments in North America by developing and executing a product market strategy, along with growing sales with existing customers and developing new approaches to growing market share.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Driving specialized new business development and long-term growth with existing customers, including regionally important and nationally strategic accounts focused on these Products. Product portfolio in the growth segment like L&G, UTV, Forestry Developing go-to-market sales channels along with the sales force, Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals and drive the achievement of aggressive annual sales & margin budget targets collectively, Driving sales in this segment and meeting the annual budgeted sales target for these Products by developing new customers for the Products and increasing share of wallet with existing customers of the Company for these Products, Collaborating with the Marketing Department on the development of promotional materials and participating in tradeshow activities regarding the segments, Working with the Marketing Department to develop market pricing and competitive product information and Providing guidance to YOHTA on the development of Tires in growth product segments, and arranging for and monitoring the testing of these new Products in the U.S. Work with the central product team to collaborate on the development of new products for the segments based upon the needs of customers and company orientation. Developing and informing relevant YOHTA management personnel on strategies for attaining targeted sales and requesting the resources necessary to meet these targets. Directly responsible for the effective communication and coordination between the sales personnel in all Sales Regions and the appropriate personnel in Finance, Marketing and Operations Departments to ensure the proper reporting of sales, compliance with approval requirements, compliance with pricing changes and delivery of correct and timely information to the Supply Chain and Logistics teams. Review market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates. Review and understand market research data and initiate suitable product strategies. Deliver sales presentations to key clients. Participate effectively in the annual budgeting process to develop detailed forecasts for sales growth and margins in the segments. In conjunction with AM and OE Managers, or independently, meet with key clients and assist with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals. Monitor and evaluate activities and products of competition. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE 4

Year College Degree (advanced degree preferred) with 15+ years of industry experience, or +10 years of experience in the tire industry including 5+ years’ experience with OHT tires. Experience with various product segments of off-highway tires including development process familiarity. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to visit customers and provide training. Outstanding time management skills with organized habits Sound communication skills and ability to reach out to other departments if working independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present factual data in a concise and organized manner. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong skills in other computer programs (e.g., Navision, SAP, etc) strongly preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position is expected to travel up to 50%, based on the needs of the team. This position will be based in Charlotte, North Carolina but will consider highly qualified candidates from other states.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Regularly required to sit or stand and move about the facility. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Required to be able to read documents and computer screens.
