All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based/evidence-informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person. As the State Director , you will lead a team of leaders across North Carolina that provide an array of services to children in the foster care system. The State Director must be well versed on the dynamics and demographic of each program they lead and respond to the needs of the area, encourage growth and ensure each program on positive outcomes for foster youth. The State Director is responsible for driving metrics and ensuring goals are achieved. The State Director will cultivate existing relationships with community partners to include DHHS, MCOs, and county DSS. What does this position offer?

Starting Pay Range:

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

As a Leader of Leaders, this role’s minimum qualifications are: Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards if applicable. Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a leader with at least 2 years’ experience as a leader of leaders in foster care or adoption services. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills. Display the capacity/coachability for future growth and development as a leader.
