Assistant Manager Candor V Mart 103 South Main Street, Candor, NC 27229 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the store’s operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team of employees. The Assistant Manager will assist in managing daily activities, maintaining inventory, and fostering a positive work environment. Duties Oversee daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies. Assist in employee orientation, training, and performance management. Manage inventory levels, including stock replenishment and organization. Handle cash register operations and ensure accurate financial transactions. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues. Lead team meetings to motivate staff and communicate store goals. Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in the selection process. Negotiate with vendors for supplies and services as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store. Experience Proven experience in store management or a similar leadership role within a grocery store environment is preferred. Strong skills in cash register operation and financial transaction handling. Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors. Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions.
