Executive Director Lakes Region Alliance for Classical Education 80 Bean Road, Moultonborough, NH 03254 LRACE is a non-profit group that is in the process of starting a NH chartered public school. We are hiring an executive director to prepare for the school opening in September 2026.

Candidate Requirements:

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s (preferred Master’s) degree in a related field, 3-5 years experience in educational leadership, and an understanding of a classical curriculum. The candidate should either hold a NH Principal’s certification or be willing to acquire one. About the

Liberty Academy is currently awaiting its charter approval from the NH DOE. Liberty Academy will be a K-12 school (starting K-2 in 2026) and will utilize the Barney Charter School Initiative (BCSI) curriculum. For more information you can visit our website.

Liberty Academy Executive Director Purpose:

Create, generate, and demonstrate a vision for the academy’s future that staff and stakeholders will agree to and adopt as their own. Recruit, select, train, and coach staff to fulfill the school’s mission, grow professionally, and achieve their personal life vision. Maintain the integrity of the school by adhering to the guidelines of the school’s charter. Facilitate school-wide progress by achieving the financial and academic goals of the school.

Accountabilities :

Report directly to the Chair of the Academy’s Board of Directors. Set clear goals with individuals and the team. Gain promises from individuals and team members to achieve agreed-upon measurable performance goals and hold them accountable. Create an overarching culture within the Academy where: Each team member exhibits high moral and ethical standards. Coaching becomes the primary way people relate to each other. Trust, integrity, and mutual respect anchor all relationships. Each team member experiences their work as an opportunity to fulfill their personal commitment to contribute to the lives of students, colleagues, and the community. Meet the School’s annual financial and academic goals (as determined by the Board of Directors).

Performance/Developmental Evaluation:
