We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President ofManufacturer Business Development to lead our Manufacturer BusinessDevelopment Team. This pivotal role involves working closely withour manufacturing partners to understand their Business to Consumer(B2C) strategies and driving the sale of their products throughMcKesson’s extensive consumer channels, including Amazon, Walmart,Omni-Channel Retailers, and other online retail platforms. The VPwill be responsible for creating a new pipeline of HealthcarePayor, Fintech and FSA/HSA partners. This leader will executebusiness plans to build and strengthen relationships with currentand new customers, aligning with the sales and objectives of ourmanufacturer partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the identification, qualification, and pursuit of newmanufacturer and healthcare payor relationships for McKesson, whilealso identifying opportunities to grow sales and capitalize onopportunities within our existing strategic suppliers. Lead, mentor, and develop the Manufacturer and Payor BusinessDevelopment Team to achieve organizational goals. Build relationships with Manufacturers by leveraging our valueproposition to support their direct-to-consumer strategy Engaged with healthcare payors and benefit administrators todeepen market understanding through real-life selling Help establish budget, operational plans and performance goalsand requirements Conduct ongoing analysis and sales forecasting to ensure targetrevenue / retention objectives are met Lead, teach, and mentor negotiation strategies and overallnegotiations for existing and net new business Manage and reconcile requests across diverse functional groupsto achieve desired results for the benefit of the supplier Responsible for working cross functionally with the consumermarkets team, category managers, legal, marketing, finance, AR,customer service, and IT. Identify trends, deficiencies, and opportunities acrosschannels and throughout the manufacturer’s direct to consumerstrategy.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent experience. Typically has 12+ years ofprofessional experience and 4+ years management experience. Minimum 5-year successful track record of managing a sales teamwho worked on complex customers College degree, MBA Preferred or 5+years in managingManufacturer relationships Knowledge of retail, ecommerce, marketplaces, and distribution Experience building market awareness for new productofferings Experience with Healthcare Payors Have worked across a matrix organization Ability to build profitable Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies andincrease market share Travel 25% – 50% travel with overnight travel may be required. Education 4-year degree in business or related field or equivalentexperience Physical Requirements Significant amount of time performing computer and phone-basedwork is required Significant amount of time spent traveling via automobile andplan Must be authorized to work in the US. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson’s payphilosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicableregulations.
