JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Vice President of Perioperative Services is, providing oversight of all Perioperative areas including Same Day Surgery, EPA, pre-admission testing, operating rooms, and post- anesthesia care unit, GI Endo, Perioperative Business Operations, and Central Sterile Processing. Responsible for developing, defining, planning, implementing and evaluating the philosophy and objectives of the department to ensure efficient and therapeutically effective nursing care to all patients in an environment that promotes professional development and continues to assure financial viability. Provides direction, support and guidance to staffing their development both clinically and managerially.

EDUCATION

Bachelors of Science, Nursing required
Master s degree required

REQUIREMENTS

Nursing Specialty certification required
Minimum 5 years operating room nurse experience required
Minimum 5 years senior nursing leadership experience required
