- Vice President, Real Estate Planning/ Management
- is responsible for overseeing and directing the organization’s strategic real estate portfolio.
This role integrates corporate real estate strategy with overall system objectives, managing portfolio and transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and lease renewals. The position involves identifying and evaluating development opportunities, negotiating agreements, assessing project viability, and managing due diligence activities. The VP, Real Estate Planning and Management collaborates with design teams to ensure adherence to system standards and works closely with senior leadership to develop comprehensive, long-term real estate strategies. This role is crucial in aligning real estate decisions with organizational and strategic goals, optimizing space utilization, and enhancing operational efficiency across the entire real estate portfolio.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- + Bachelor of Arts/Business or Hospital Administration or equivalent experience; or equivalent degree required.
+ Minimum of fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in Real Estate and Facility Management administration, including Leasing, Real Estate Transactions, Facility Management and Maintenance, Capital Improvements, and or an equivalent amount of experience and education. At least seven years in a Real Estate leadership position. + Proven track record of successfully leading development projects, driving portfolio growth, and optimizing real estate performance + Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders + The analytical ability to conduct cost benefit analyses and in-depth budget variation analysis as well as to resolve complex operational and sensitive interpersonal problems within the organization. + An in-depth understanding of the administrative aspects of Real Estate transactions and Facility Management. + In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards. + Outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication skills on an individual and group basis, excellent writing skills, and an executive demeanor and appearance. + Ability to inspire others and to set a positive example for others by providing assistance, recognition, and encouragement; to identify and articulate clear meaningful goals; to focus the efforts of others; and to adapt well to changing conditions. + Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.
