Duties & Responsibilities Summary Of Duties:

1) Collaborate with executive team and leadership to execute strategies to improve departmental performance 2) Identify and support key strategic partnerships and business development opportunities 3) Ensure alignment of departmental strategies with organizational objectives 4) Communicate division mission and strategy effectively throughout the department and corporation 5) Ensure suitable metrics are in place to measure performance and progress across department key performance initiatives 6) Oversee business intelligence unit and operation of all proprietary dashboards as well as partnership with corporate Data and Analytics division to support data expansion needs 7) Lead Division wide QAPI (Quality Assurance Performance Improvement) program 8) Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and commitment to community health and well-being 9) Responsible for the development and review of the division QAPI quarterly board report and annual QAPI plan 10) Serves as quality advisor for performance improvement projects reported to the QAPI Committee of the Board of Directors 11) Aligns division’s quality metrics with the System’s strategic pillars 12) Incorporates information learned from near-miss and adverse event reporting into performance improvement activities 13) Performs other duties as indicated by the Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer and leadership of the NYCH+H Office of Quality and Safety Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL LEVEL

Master’s Degree

CERTIFICATION

(S)/LICENSE(S): CPHQ Preferred

COMPUTER PROGRAMS/SOFTWARE OPERATED

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Epic, Tableau) Additional Qualifications

KNOWLEDGEABLE IN

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement, Risk Management, Care Experience, Data/Business Intelligence

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
