Philadelphia, PA Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Automotive Manager. The Automotive Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving sales performance, and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive sales, inventory management, and a customer-focused approach to sales.

Key Responsibilities:

The Automotive Manager has the following responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and yearly sales targets. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members. Foster positive relationships with customers by ensuring an exceptional sales experience. Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner. Oversee the dealership’s vehicle inventory, ensuring stock levels are optimized and appropriate for market demand. Coordinate with suppliers to manage ordering, receiving, and pricing of vehicles. Collaborate with upper management to develop and implement effective sales strategies. Monitor sales trends, identify growth opportunities, and adjust strategies as needed. Work with the marketing department to plan and execute promotional campaigns and events that drive traffic to the dealership. Monitor sales budgets, track sales performance, and ensure the profitability of the dealership. Ensure that all sales transactions comply with company policies and regulations. Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training of sales staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance to help staff grow professionally. Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, inventory, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency to senior management. Ensure the dealership complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Promote a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

The Automotive Manager should have the following skills, education and experience: Proven experience in automotive sales management, with a minimum of [X] years in a supervisory or managerial role within the automotive industry. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of automotive products, market trends, and pricing strategies. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle complex customer interactions. Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and sales forecasting. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Proficient in dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Knowledge of dealership operations and inventory management software. Experience with digital marketing and online sales platforms.
