The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both technical and outside sales, with a proven ability to analyze market trends and customer needs. This role requires exceptional negotiation skills, the ability to manage multiple accounts, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals. Analyze market trends and customer data to identify new business opportunities. Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through effective account management. Utilize BisTrack for tracking sales activities, managing leads, and reporting on performance metrics. Manage new employees, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Provide training and mentorship to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Adaptability and Innovation:
Identify opportunities for sales growth, adapt to changes in the market, and implement innovative sales approaches.
Drive Sales Excellence:
Assume overall responsibility for championing sales growth and ensuring profitability of operations.
Marketing Strategy:
Play a pivotal role in developing and updating the marketing plan for the location, focusing on sales-driven strategies to enhance business visibility and attract customers.
Sales Projections:
Be at the forefront of meeting or exceeding sales projections, demonstrating a keen understanding of the market, and implementing effective sales tactics Qualifications Proven experience in lumber sales or building materials is preferred. Strong background in outside sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Proficient in BisTrack or similar CRM software for managing customer relationships. Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to client satisfaction. Experience in account management, ensuring long-term client retention and growth.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Proficient in basic mathematical calculations. Computer skills with experience in BisTrack/Epicor Software is a plus. Must have proven problem-solving abilities, effective oral and written communication, strong teamwork, leadership, and a demonstrated sales-oriented mindset.
