$72K – $105K a year 2 days ago Qualifications 5 years Master’s degree Senior level Full Job Description JOB Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Workforce Innovation, the Director of Institutional Effectiveness develops, manages, and leads the institutional effectiveness and research functions, ensuring the accurate collection, analysis, and data reporting to support accreditation, support grant development, institutional reporting, curriculum development, instructional support services, and decision-making. The Director provides strategic direction for College planning and assessment and advises the VP and Executive Staff on institutional planning, research, and factors that impact accreditation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the College’s institutional research and effectiveness functions to foster continuous improvement of its programs, services, and operations. Assure that program review, assessment, and reporting systems align with program and institutional accreditation standards (SACSCOC). Manage the collection, analysis, and interpretation of instructional data. Develop and maintain databases to support institutional research initiatives while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Evaluate academic programs and administrative services to assess their effectiveness and ensure they meet quality standards as required by the College, business and industry, and regional and program accreditation agencies. Analyze data to identify areas for enhancement and provide evidence-based recommendations. Develop and implement robust assessment methods and evaluation tools.
Manage online learning and instructional technology support services to ensure competent administration of technology systems and tools for teaching and learning and continuous improvement. Direct, manage, and document faculty professional development activities. Collaborate with Academic Affairs to ensure professional development activities are aligned with Division, Department, and faculty goals.
Supervise, train, evaluate, and provide professional development to support staff. Ensure that all College and division communications, initiatives, and standard operating procedures are shared with and understood by staff. Collaborate and provide assistance in the development and delivery of grant and funding opportunities, planning, and required reporting. Provide input concerning the College’s annual and strategic plans in collaboration with key stakeholders. Oversee the Services and Operations Assessment Report. Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the college. Partner with various departments to advance institutional goals and initiatives. Cultivate and maintain a positive working relationship with all colleagues, faculty, and staff across campus. Participate in campus activities, serve on College committees, and perform other duties as assigned.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Master’s degree in a related discipline, plus five (5) years of progressively responsible related work experience required.
