General Summary:
Fulfill the mission of the organization and serves as the “Face” of ACTS in the community. Responsible for meeting all revenue and expense budgets, board development and management, and a robust volunteer program. Provides overall management of ACTS in accordance with the policies set forth by the Board of Directors. Principal Responsibilities. 1. As the “Face” of the organization, responsible for maximizing presesnce of ACTS. Promotes the programs, services and needs of ACTS throughout the Aiken County service area. Develops strategic relationships and key community representatives. Cultivates relationships with the ACTS member churches and with area businesses, community organizations and other groups. 2. Responsible for meeting revenue and expenses targets/budgets. Maintains donor relationships with United Way, corporate partners, grant foundations, individual donors, church partners and community organizations. Oversees the donor stewardship plan in partnership with the Board of Directors. Provides oversight of expense management working with the Operations Manager. 3. Actively manages the ACTS board of directors providing support to the members, ensuring board committees are active and that the board members are engaged in the mission of the organization. 4. Oversees volunteer management of the organization working in partnership with the operations manager. Includes implementation of volunteer recruitment, engagement and recognition plans. Actively recruits new volunteers working with church partners and the community at large. 5. Ensures both internal and external communication plans are implemented. 6. Supervises the Operations Manager and Administrative Manager 7. Provides leadership to and oversight of new policy and programmatic initiatives for ACTS, in consultation with the Board of Directors. 8. Performs other duties as assigned by the President and Board of Directors.
